Christmas Hairstyles…

Cheryl Cole Fancy having your barnet as beautiful as our Geordie friend this festive season? Then read on. Cheryl Cole has been a hair crush for many a female over the past couple of weeks although is her hair queen crown starting to slip ever so slowly off? This series of the X Factor has seen Chezza’s hair undertake some amount of scrutiny from the ever critical public eye. Her new Ribena shade has polarised many and prompted others into rushing to buy a similar shade and get colouring! What was the style last night (Sunday 14th) all about it was a cross between Minnie Mouse and Lady Gaga’s hair bow, I’m not sure it was my favourite look for Cheryl but I doubt she’d listen to me if I told her anyway, so I’ll just talk to you.

In this article I’m concentrating more on Cheryl’s hair last series of the X Factor the long, waved, glowing, voluminous perfectly tousled locks of pure jealousy inducing perfection, remember? Hopefully I have come up with a way to try and re-create your own lux look for this festive season with our luxury hair care products.

The Look

First you’ll have to wash your hair this look has to be blow dried into perfection so it’s better to start with freshly washed hair, wash your hair with a volumising shampoo and conditioner if possible (if you have a sensitive scalp etc… just stick to your regular brand).

Towel dry your hairs gently, don’t scrub away like a mad woman. Next we are going to need to use some product to volumise your hair and give the style a bit of purchase we want this look to have staying power! I suggest Big Sexy Hair’s Root Pump this is applied to damp hair and gives brilliant volume. Now get your hair dryer and a round vented metal brush, blast your hair upside down until it is 70% dry then section it and blow dry each section lifting up at the root and gently turning under at the ends.

Now you should have relatively smooth bouncy hair? Good. Now you’ll need some large Velcro rollers why not use Cloud Nine’s revolutionary ‘O’ the heat in the rollers will keep the style in place for longer. Place these in starting from the crown of your head and work your way back, I’d suggest putting three in. leave them in for at least twenty minutes you can give your hair a spray of hairspray at this stage where the rollers are in.

For the rest of your hair you are going to need some hair tongs, the Airpro 3/4″ Large Curling Tongs are ideal for this and an excellent price at
