My poor old legs have had many a shaving disaster over over the years! Everything from blunt razors to
new ones that cut my legs to ribbons. Bleeding legs are so not a good look! I’ve tried shaving them quickly without using soap/gel and just made them sore, ouch! But the worst of all has to be borrowing the hubby’s razor behind his back and getting caught. Did I get an ear bashing! Never again, I learnt my lesson. Lol!

I was late for work one morning and was in a hurry, I somehow managed to shave the skin from the bottom of my right nostril and then took a chunk of flesh out of my top lip. I got to work looking as if i had been punched in the face.

I was in Kathmandu, just about to start my 7 day trek to the Annapurna range. I thought I’d treat myself to ‘infamous’ street shavers for what is described as the closest shave you can get. I sat down full of hope … after 20 grueling minutes of slashing, wiping and bending my facial bits (ears, nose and lips) to places they’d never been I left the chair with the ‘closest shave a man could get’. Sweeny Todd would have been proud, I was redder than a lobster and several layers of skin lighter. The redness and pain lasted throughout the entire trek. Never never never again!!

I gave my legs a shave and used a cheap razor and some new shaving cream which i had never used before, only to discover I was allergic to the shaving cream, I ended up having a rash which was bright red and burned like hell, in the end I had to go to the doctors as I got an infection and had to have antibiotics and what made it worse I had a date that night! The moral of the story is don’t use cheap razors and test a bit of cream on your leg first before you completely cover your leg in the cream to see if your allergic to it first.

I was in the shower getting ready for a night out singing along to myself and shaving my armpits. I was the only one in the house I thought. Then my brother banged on the bathroom door cos he needed a wee. The noise made me jump and I slashed my armpit It might not have bled loads but it bloody hurt, I’m only glad I wasn’t shaving my bikini area at the time :-O

Once when I was shaving my face, I accidently clipped my Adam’s Apple and took the top off it.
It didn’t stop bleeding for several hours and only stopped with large amounts of vasolene and a huge plaster.
Scary.

My worst has to be forgetting to book in for a wax the day before my wedding. I ended up having to shave my legs at home, great big gash down my right shin. Wouldn’t have been toI bad but my dress was knee length. Took a lot of fake tan etc to cover it up but I still notice it in the photos

This is about my husband, he had bought a new razor and I had gone out with our little boy. Later I rang him he was in A & E he had nicked his nose whilst shaving and would not stop bleeding. I was nearly falling over laughing, he had 3 little lines on the side of his nostril now if it was us women we would stick some tissue on it till it stopped bleeding he must have been the butt of jokes among the nurses for a while.
